About Our Speaker

Blake Parker has been supporting science operations on the International Space Station for over six years as a Stowage Engineer at NASA’s Marshall Spaceflight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

Blake graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) in 2013 with a bachelors’ degree in Aerospace Engineering. Prior to his time with the ISS program, he previously worked with the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command’s small satellite program and the UAH Space Hardware Club’s high altitude ballooning and cubesat program.

A native of Cullman, Alabama, Blake has been living in Huntsville for over a decade and is a lifelong space exploration fan and advocate.
